Prep Work for the road

Here it is folks,Betty the van and Rusty the trailer. They look busted but are actually very sturdy. The van doesn't even strain going up a mountain with the trailer. It's been a busy last couple of days. Monica has joined me .We still have to take Buck to get some special shoes tomorrow, so actual takeoff should be Tuesday. Tonight we are sprucing up Betty and Rusty, could be some painting, welding and rearranging going on.
More soon.

We took ol' Rusty home to the workshop.

Bethany vacuums while Karin Grinds

and grinds the metal

and Monica ,metalsmithing

OMG!!!!! I was just thinking about this whole crazy thing and wondering where you are in your adventure. I am Nervous and Excited for you. You Go Girl... You always said you were going to just ride horses... well I guess you need Rusty and Beatty to get you there also. PLEASE keep us up to date!!!

Hey Bethany!
Just talked to Karin and heard there's a little problem getting Buck into the trailer. I guess that's par for the course. It probably won't be the last of your problems. Hope he'll adjust and you can get started--Maybe our paths will cross up in Wisconsin--it will be fun to keep up on your postings. Be safe and have a good time--you adventurer you!!!
Love,
Carol Svenson
